Steve discusses the dual nature of the TOTL story, what attracted him as an actor to the project and to the lead role of Stan, and the benefits he saw in director (and Pan Left member) Steev Hise's use of the Mark Travis directing technique.
Truth On The Line's first episode is in post-production. For more information and related content, and to sign up for the TOTL newsletter, see truthontheline.tv
Here is an article written about Pan Left that was published in New Awakenings magazine.
An excellent piece written by James Jordan about Haiti for Narco News. If you want a real examination and lowdown about Haiti, look no further. Saludos, James. The Labor Movement in Haiti: A Personal Reflection • http://www.narconews.com/Issue64/article4069.html
This is an updated version of Wild Versus Wall, produced for the Sierra Club by Pan Left member Steev Hise. The film, which was first released in 2008, concerns the ecological effects of new enforcement infrastructure on the U.S./Mexico border. This new revision includes the newest footage and photos of wall segments, construction, and effects, as well as messaging about the current presidential administration's failure to halt or reverse Bush-era policy.
Narrated by David Yetman.

This morning, while drinking my fair trade, organic Peruvian coffee (Oh!.. Major enviro creds, yo!! Chalk 'em up, bitches!!! -- just kidding), I stumbled across this interesting document from San Francisco-based Roughstock Studios. It's called "Keeping It Real Green: How to Marketing Your Efforts in an age of Greenwashing (LINK)," and it's worth considering in relation to Pan Left Productions' marketing/publicity strategies. See attached PDF if you want a copy of your own.
Exciting trailer for (what I hope will be) an awesome new documentary. Perhaps this is a response to the "slacktivism" of the internet?!

Check out this 8-min piece from the "unapologetic Mexican," Nezua. If you can, people should drop a line in the comments with a link back to Jason, Pan Left, and the Arpaio doc. A lot of activists watch this dude. We should let them know what Jason, et al., are doing!
On January 16 the masses gathered in Phoenix to march for human rights and demand action from the Obama administration to stop the abuses by Sheriff Joe Arpaio . The momentum towards change is getting stronger. Mi video is heavy on poetic aesthetic and light on news info., so if you need to get educated on the matter I suggest... http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/arpaio • http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/bastard/ and info. on the movement is here... http://puenteaz.org/ and of course mas to come on my end soon, but until then Zack's palabras will do just fine for now.
