When StoryCorps came to Tucson last year I naturally thought about interviewing my boss at the time, Sam Behrend, Executive Director of Access Tucson. After he agreed to the interview I quickly booked the appointment and started thinking about what kind of questions I wanted to ask him. This candid interview captured Sam's frustration, his passion, and 25 years of dedication to community media. I'm proud to have worked with him he's cool!

Two weeks after this interview I was laid off due to the City of Tucson budget cuts and the shit economy. One year later the current state of affairs in Tucson looks bleak and could potentially shut the doors to Access Tucson forever (amongst other art organizations). Lets hope for the best!
