This is the first installment of a new podcast consisting of the different sections of "On The Edge: The Femicide in Ciudad Juarez", a film I finished in 2006. This is the first time the entire film will be viewable online. Every Monday for the next 8 weeks I will post another section of the film. (To subscribe to the podcast, click here.)
Here is the flash version you can watch in-browser if you have trouble with the quicktime file:

This section is the introduction. The documentary deals with the systemic cultural and economic factors that contribute to the femicide, and each section (other than the introduction and the conclusion) addresses a different factor. The next section, available next week, is about poverty.

Podcasting is a good direction...
Podcasting is a good direction we should be heading. Thanks Steev for getting this going. I think Aud/Dev and collective members should discuss how we can direct or promote our Podcast visibility. I'm gonna upload a podcast soon. I want in on this.
Meanwhile, I was messing around with iTunes and despite my personal iTunes frustrations (Die DRM, Die!), I like using it for podcasts. It does a nice job organizing them and the content is always there for your ipod. Pan Left infiltrates ur iPod, I like it! Who knows maybe in the future we could get inside the iTunes store. So if your new to using iTunes for Podacasts. Try it out! Here's how:
On Safari and Firefox it's real easy. Go to Preferences>RSS or Feeds>select ITunes as your default for feeds.
