Another of several short interview clips from Pan Left's coverage of the May 29 march against SB1070. In this interview I talked to an entrepreneur with a unique product relevant to this issue.
Another of several short interview clips from Pan Left's coverage of the May 29 march against SB1070. Here I learn from an inventor about his device for telling who is reasonably suspicious.
This is a new version of a brief video segment about the Chertoff Retirement Celebration, which I posted earier here. http://panleft.net/cms/node/473 - this is the first segment in my News On The Line "Transition in the Borderlands" series. (see http://newsontheline.tv )
Here it is! Our Video Postcard to OBAMA (much shorter of course). On January 17th this year we had a great event over at Pan Left to celebrate Obama's inauguration and there was almost 2 and 1/2 hours of footage! This version I managed to whittle down to 5 and 1/2 minutes so you all can see some of what everyone had to say. We'll send the Prez both versions cut and un-cut on the DVD. Thanks for everyone who came out! We'll see how the next 4 years go.
While we're on the topic of fake news and politics and humor, last week I discoved the "Sarah Palin Vlog," a fake video blog on YouTube created by Sarah Benincasa, a comedienne in NYC, and her friends. It's the most hiliarious thing I saw all week. This is the first episode, there are 5 more at this point, and more on the way.
I saw this video that was made by "SyntheticHuman Pictures is a Phoenix, Arizona based group of filmmakers, dedicated to creating content that inspires imagination and evokes emotion". I really like it, but it also made me think that since this is an election year that maybe we should come up with some videos along the lines of this one. It could be a chance to practice your skills or gain new ones and it could be fun! Oh wait, that's F.U.n???
At the end of February I was supposed to perform live audio and video under my pseudonym, Charismatic Megafauna, at the Dry River experimental art festival, FLOOD. However, I was so busy that I didn't have time to prepare, so instead I showed a slide show with narration that humorously "explained" why I wasn't able to perform, then played a previously made video piece. For y'alls entertainment, this is that slide show turned into a video.
