Promotional video for Dry River Collective, a Tucson, Arizona-based arts and educational center supported by an autonomous group of individuals working to create a community based on sustainability, cooperation, and self-sufficiency.

This is an edit of footage from the 2nd-to-last set of this year's Synaesthesia, on March 29. This set consisted of improvised music by Amy Rude, and improvised video by Steev Hise (me). I was using a software/hardware package called NuVJ, basically a small video mixing controller that has several buttons and knobs and faders, that controls the software, allowing me to manipulate and mix together various video clips stored on the computer.

As you may or may not be aware, the Indymedia Newsreal, a half-hour TV program, is produced with the help of Pan Left member time and equipment every month. I take submissions from vdeoactivists around the world to create each episode, but lately I've been getting fewer and fewer contributions. This is a special video message in which I try to humorously and cleverly persuade more videographers to participate.

What a show it was for this year's SYNAESTHESIA. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the experience. Muchas Gracias para todo Pan Lefties and Performers who helped put on a killer show!
