On August 2, 2010 around 3:15 p.m. Officer Zinn and Officer Koontz of the Tucson Police Department called Border Patrol on a woman during a traffic stop. Border Patrol came and took her into detention.

May 12, 2010- Tucson Youth Rise Up • VOICES FROM THE AZ STRUGGLE
Tucson youth walked out of classrooms and conducted civil disobedience against the ban on ethnic studies in Arizona (HB2281) and against School Superintendent Tom Horne for his pledge to terminate ethnic studies in Tucson. 15 were arrested. Pan Left was forced out of the State building by State police when we were filming them arresting students.

Democracy Now! did a second day of coverage on the students coming out and protesting the Arizona ban on ethnic studies- HR2281. Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez interview Isabel Garcia- Coalicion de Derechos Humanos and Kim Dominguez- one of the Tucson 15 arrested. Pan Left video was also used in this segment.
