Telling the Story of War Tax Resistance

I'm in perhaps the most exciting yet frustrating stage in my work on the documentary about war tax resistance that I'm making. I'm basically trying to make sense of all the footage and figure out how to present it in a compelling way - the big question is: what is the story? I've been struggling with this for about 4 years, ever since I started thinking about the challenges of making a film about this subject - Put another way, how do I tell the story of war tax resistance in a way that's interesting and exciting?

This is a snazzy new trailer for the film on war tax resistance that Pan Left is producing for the National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee. It features a performance by Antibalas, a Brooklyn-based band with at least one war tax resisting member. More of their music will form the majority of the soundtrack of the film. The footage of the band was shot by one-time Pan Left member Salvador, who now lives in New York.

Editing of the film will proceed throughout the summer and hopefully finish up in September.

This is a reeeealllly rough early pass at taking some footage I already have at this early stage of production and coming up with a really basic trailer for this documentary about war tax resistance we're doing.
I'm in a hurry but I wanted to get something cut together before the shoot in the bay area this weekend.

Note that the title is a working title only... everything is provisional, in fact... really just a sketch, a test...
